The Director, Corporate Development will serve the role of (1) delivering high quality financial analysis in support of M&A, in-licensing/outlicensing, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, (2) leading due diligence efforts both internally and externally by managing timelines, meetings, reports/deliverables, etc. and by interacting with investment banks and external parties, (3) leading select transactions or aspects of complex transactions, (4) playing a lead role in integrating acquisitions (5) being the primary interface between Corporate Development and Finance to support post-deal analysis, capital raising, SEC filings, etc. This role will report to the VP, M&A and Business Development and across functional areas to support the company's strategy for inorganic growth.. Essential Functions:. Deliver high quality financial analysis and valuation modeling of M&A, in-licensing/outlicensing, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. Lead due diligence efforts both internally and externally by managing timelines, meetings, reports/deliverables, etc. and by interacting with investment banks and external parties. Play a lead role in integrating acquisitions by working with functional leads at Amneal and acquired company. Be the primary interface between Corporate Development and other areas including Finance to support post-deal analysis, capital raises, SEC filings, etc. and supply chain to support any product transition and launches.. Lead select transactions or aspects of complex transactions. Additional Responsibilities:. Qualifications. Education:. Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) - Required. Master Degree (MBA) - Required. Experience:. At least 12 years of experience in Corporate Development, Private Equity / Venture Capital, top tier Investment Banking and/or Management Consulting firms focused on Health Care transactions.. Active role on M&A and/or licensing deals in Pharmaceuticals. Skills:. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment and participate on cross functional teams. - Advanced. Excellent analytical, modeling, and valuation skills a must. - Advanced. Deep valuation and modeling experience (Excel power user). - Advanced. Demonstrated ability to evaluate and interpret complex problems. - Advanced. Strong business research and financial analysis experience. - Advanced. An ability to generate a broad and productive internal network, understands how to manage across various internal Finance groups (tax, accounting, etc) - Advanced. Highly skillful negotiator including negotiation strategy design - Advanced. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail. - Advanced.
