The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years experience in the management consulting industry or with corporate M&A with a strong understanding of business process to technology mapping, technology finance, day 1 planning, technology strategy. A key focus area would be experience in designing and rolling out new target operating models, evaluation and assessment of current and target state technology landscape in a separation or integration scenario and execution of complex transformation programs around it.

Execute client engagements involving implementation of integration and separation projects as the result of M&A activity Execute complex transformation engagements (arising out of post-merger integration, divestiture or carve-out) focused on platform and product strategy, target operating model development, technology migration, digital transformation Identify and evaluate initiatives to migrate to target state capabilities for product and customer management including assessment of software platforms, infrastructure (on-premise, cloud and SaaS capabilities), service delivery, business and technology operations Execute change initiatives required to achieve target state of post integration including roll-out of new operating models Plan and conduct risk-assessments of target state migration activities to ensure all risk scenarios and associated impacts are adequately identified and addressed Work with clients on Day One readiness and execution Seek out client input in a structured manner to better understand needs and develop ideas for how to meet those needs Collaborate with clients to define long-term vision, goals and strategies
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will work on client engagements that assess, refine, implement technology and operations solutions for our clients M&A efforts. You will independently deliver high quality solutions and actively build key client relationships, while further deepening knowledge in your respective area of specialization.
Practice Development Provide insights on new and emerging best practices in enterprise technology strategy and contribute to the development of service offerings Work with other practice members to support Infosys Consulting thought leadership activities and develop innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologies used in technology due-diligence and advisory Build social networks that enable knowledge and information flow and stay abreast of developments in the market Prepare thought papers and participate in industry conferences and forums
Business Development Support business development activities ranging from leading or contributing to proposals and developing propositions Develop market relevant points of view to generate and sustain presence in the marketplace
Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of management consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm and/or industry experience is required Active participation in the post-merger integration / carve-out transformation programmes of a large corporation Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated knowledge and experience in requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation Proven ability to lead projects, build strong and effective business relationships Ability to facilitate discussions, analyze and de-construct problems, develop structured solutions and categorize challenges in the project environment Highly motivated with strong analytical acumen and problem-solving skills Must be willing and able to travel up to 80%, depending on client requirements U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications A Masters degree is preferred, an MBA from a top 10 school is highly preferred Experience of executing engagements where stakeholder engagement is a key requisite to achieving successful program/project delivery Experience advising clients on large-scale post-M&A initiatives e.g. separations, location strategy, joint ventures and due diligence Good depth of knowledge in one or more areas - process optimization, re-engineering, operational simplification, operational due diligence, operating model design, cost model reviews Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints Ability and willingness to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary Ability to collaborate within the firm and leverage existing resources
