Description
The Chase Merchant Services Finance team is seeking a highly motivated analytical professional with an interest in learning more about Chase Pay, Chasenet and the Acquiring business. This individual will be a key member of the Chase Merchant Services Strategic Deal Pricing team providing analytic support for Chasenet, Chase Pay and Merchant Acquiring pricing requests. The role also requires working closely with our cross-functional partners in Business Development, Relationship Management, Product, Operations and IT.
Responsibilities
* Build deal strategy and analytics for complex deals (proposed vs actuals, metrics, etc.)
* Provide insights and strategic guidance to business partners
* Complete strategic deal pricing requests to improve business profitability and grow market share
* Build solutions and processes to automate and improve the availability / speed of pricing, analytics and reporting
* Become SME in Chase Merchant Services profitability data and calculations
* Represent Pricing team during client meetings if needed
* Develop financial and other models to analyze/predict strategic deal profitability
* Manage multiple concurrent deal pricing requests to ensure timelines are achieved
* Provide ad hoc financial analysis for strategic projects
* Partner effectively with various teams within the Merchant Services organization
* Analyze large amounts of data to present results and recommendations clearly and concisely to senior management
* Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reporting and forecasting
Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (or related discipline)
* 6+ years in Finance/Accounting, management consulting or other financial/analytic roles
* Strong quantitative, critical thinking and analytic skills, excellent quantitative and analytical problem solving skills, confidence with finance and accounting concepts, has the ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts in a fast- paced, dynamic environment
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Strong judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, strong work ethic, proactive and results-oriented, fact based, has the courage to ask the tough questions and challenge the status quo and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPro, Essbase and SQL (strongly preferred)
