Position Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a DAC Lifing Service Implementation Consultant to join the Lifting Service Delivery team in Derby.
You will work closely with the Lifing Service Manager, Operator On-boarding Business Analysts, Lifing service delivery team and external stakeholders, responsible for maintaining data integrity and progressing the implementation of our customers' software integration solutions.
You will be a direct customer facing role that involves educating and training operators on the DACs system and service which may involve travelling and face to face customer interaction.

The Lifing Service Delivery team are responsible for supporting delivery of the DAC lifing service to a rapidly increasing number of airlines that operate our latest Trent engines. The DAC lifing service is an essential part of the Rolls-Royce service strategy, delivering huge cost savings and reducing environmental impact across the life of each engine. You will be responsible for working directly with our airline operator customers to integrate their IT systems with Rolls-Royce's lifing solution, managing relationships with customers and resolving customer's technical problems and data quality issues.

What you’ll be doing
You will be accountable for a global region of operators, taking ownership of interface aspects including working with the Business Analysts to on-board new operators and support executive customers with the live service.

Independently identify, track, and resolve technical problems and data quality issues

Effectively communicate complicated technical concepts, complex issues and propose resolutions to external customers and internal colleagues.

Act as the point of contact, build and maintain effective relationships with external customers.

Maintain a customer training plan and offer training and refresher information directly to customers, tailoring to the appropriate technical level and ability and willingness to travel and visit customers’ on-site locations.
What we’re looking for

Degree (or equivalent) in Digital/IT, Engineering or Project Management disciplines, or comparable skills/work experience.

Knowledge of the Rolls-Royce Trent engine product, aerospace or airline industries and surrounding context would be desirable, but not essential.

Knowledge of SQL and understanding of Oracle databases would be desirable, but not essential.

Knowledge of REST Web Services and XML would be desirable, but not essential.
